What the Clients say:
Here are a few thoughts from a small selection of clients:
DUNMUIR HOTEL, DUNBAR
“We have worked with Riederer Hospitality right from the start when we bought the building and found as a new business, a tremendous benefit from the support and advice provided. Even as seasoned hoteliers (so we are told!) establishing your own hotel is still a huge challenge with so many obstacles. An independent business does not have the support of a head office function-which, of course, we were both accustomed to. |

BALBIRNIE HOUSE HOTEL, MARKINCH FIFE
I have worked closely with Riederer Hospitality for the last few years, and have seen at first hand at Balbirnie House in my MD capacity how helpful the involvement can be for any hotel which wishes to enhance margins of profitability. The processes involved are extremely comprehensive, and in a wider context can potentially very dramatically enhance asset values. Let me be blunt, say a hotel is worth 10M, if we can increase annual profitability by 100 grand by phasing in cost efficiencies, then using standardised Red Book valuation practices the hotel will be worth somewhere between 10.5M and 10.7M. That consideration is one very relevant component of strategically planning ahead for a successful asset sale. Anyone thinking of selling a hotel will do very well to focus on this. |

PARKSIDE SCHOOL. BRADFORD
We have felt the considerable benefit from working with Riederer Hospitality in terms of vastly improved GP and therefore profit attainment as well as invaluable support in guiding us through market and price changes and sourcing products. There are 1300 pupils at the school and we pride ourselves in delivering an excellent of healthy food at the right price. Riederer Hospitality has also been very helpful in other areas of cost control such as disposables and cleaning materials. We really appreciate the support provided and would recommend to any schools and colleges with an independent catering operation. It is very good value for money. |

TARENVILLE HOTELS LTD
Tarenville Hotels were associated with John Riederer as an individual prior to setting up Riederer Hospitality. John was a senior colleague at Thistle Hotels and was, prior to the establishment of Riederer Hospitality, an Associate Director of Tarenville Hotels. From the outset, several years ago, Riederer Hospitality was able to demonstrate the ability to better the prices of existing well-known purchasing consortia and to provide a high degree of personal service not available from other similar organisations. John and Riederer Hospitality have been responsible for setting up management of purchasing in all the hotels taken over and managed by Tarenville Hotels, and Riederer Hospitality continues to monitor and update purchasing data to assist us to trade competitively. John and his team have excellent knowledge and understanding of the markets relevant to the clients that they serve. We have always found John and his colleagues communicate effectively, and to be honest in all dealings we have had with them. Working with John and with Riederer Hospitality has been, and is a pleasure and I have no hesitation in recommending his services. |
